There is a constant need for inspirational reading these days as we roll up our sleeves and work towards “reinventing the box.” Transitional, modular housing is certainly not a new idea, but it was refreshing to see that breakthroughs can come from a variety of places, not just from building something from scratch. A big thank you is in order. What started as a chance meeting with an architect has catapulted Homes 4 the Homeless into the thick of rapid response, transitional housing. In normal times, we might not have had such an opportunity to work with an architecture firm like Workshop Architects, but now with the COVID19 Pandemic and social distancing, we have the luxury of working with ten or more architects at a time, face-to-face via Zoom virtual meetings!
