Homes 4 the Homeless Launching VESSEL Housing to Expand Affordable Housing in America

SANTA ROSA, California – Nonprofit Homes 4 the Homeless (EIN: 84-2805734) is proud to launch its new vision for tackling the housing crisis at the Sonoma/North Bay Home Expo March 29-30 at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. As a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing safe, affordable, and dignified housing solutions, H4H is proud to introduce VESSEL Space Capsule homes as affordable housing that targets private consumer use of the modular housing, while inviting collaboration with other nonprofits focused on ending the housing shortage.

CEO Steve Schneider is thrilled to connect with the Sonoma County community. He founded H4H in 2018 after losing his home in the devastating Tubbs Fire of 2017.

“Our organization was born out of a deep commitment to rebuilding not just homes, but hope,” said Schneider. “This year’s Sonoma/North Bay Home Expo gave us the perfect platform to highlight our partnership with VESSEL, a forward-thinking manufacturer revolutionizing modular housing. Together, we’re proving that Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) can be more than just a trend—they’re a powerful tool to address homelessness and housing instability.

At the H4H booth, visitors can explore a model of our latest modular housing design—a compact, sustainable, and beautifully crafted unit that offers both immediate shelter and long-term stability. Attendees will be captivated by the flexibility of our approach: homes that can be quickly deployed to support chronically homeless individuals, veterans, and families in need, all while maintaining a focus on dignity and community integration. With hands-on displays and heartfelt conversations, we will share how these units are already making a difference in California and beyond.

The Sonoma County Fairgrounds will be buzzing with excitement as local leaders, housing advocates, and curious residents stop by to learn more. For us, this event wasn’t just about showcasing a product—it was about sparking a movement. With our Platinum Certification from GuideStar and Candid as a testament to our transparency and impact, we invite attendees to join us in reimagining what housing can mean for those who need it most.

As we reflect on our time at the Sonoma/North Bay Home Expo, we’re more inspired than ever to keep pushing forward. Homes 4 the Homeless isn’t just building structures; we’re building futures. Stay tuned for updates on our projects, and if you missed us at the Fairgrounds, reach out to learn how you can get involved in this life-changing work. Together, we can make housing a reality for all.
