A psychosocial counsellor by profession, Elizabeth is a communications specialist who, in 2018 was awarded customer care ambassador and employee of the year by Madam Bridget the General Manager of Mika groups of Hotels in recognition of her outstanding service. Voting ends October 28th. Vote here.

Elizabeth Nkandu, a visionary leader and advocate for women’s empowerment, has dedicated her career to fostering inclusive growth and sustainable development. Through her work, she continues to inspire change, uplift communities, and create opportunities for women across Africa. Most recently in 2021, Elizabeth was among the top 10 countries representing Zambia in the she awards under the category Healthprenure of the year under which she was advocating for persons with special abilities. Further, Elizabeth was also among the top 15,000 finalists of the 2021 Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneur Innovative $5,000.00 Award under which 200,000 youths were a part of Africa wide. And now she is completing her nursing program at the university of Lusaka school of Natural sciences.

Outside her professional field, Elizabeth is particularly keen on enhancing understanding the world to enable people work together towards peace and justice especially advocating for persons with mental health conditions and helping young people to discover there worth. Elizabeth is a radio personality with her title being “Queen E” on cloud 96.7 FM in the central part of Zambia as well as a quest speaker on several national broadcasting networks such as, millennium radio, power FM, and one love radio stations among others “My program is called Let’s Chat with Elizabeth. The desire and urge to contribute positively within millennial society, is my strong motivation to work hard for the society. As the saying goes “happiness is not in material things, it’s in relationships, its meaningful heartfelt, deep bodings of love that bring true joy to the heart” I stand on motivation, awareness and counselling.
