Interns work on key projects like the VESSEL program, which is transforming the landscape of affordable housing in the U.S. and beyond. - Company Branding
- Name & Logo: The team developed the name “Hometunity – Tiny homes, Big opportunities” and designed a memorable logo to visually represent the company.
- Mission & Vision: Defined the mission to provide innovative and sustainable Tiny Homes (ADUs) for income generation and personal use, while the vision aimed for everyone to have safe housing through sustainable investments.
- Market Research
- Conducted a detailed market analysis for the ADU industry in the Bay Area, identifying key competitors and mapping potential customers across different regions.
- Created user personas and analyzed competitor activities to refine marketing and customer acquisition strategies.
- Corporate Strategy
- Completed a series of analyses including SWOT, PESTLE, Business Model Canvas, and Porter’s 5 Forces, all used to strengthen the foundation for the startup and future growth.
- Collaborated with industry experts to refine the corporate strategy and explore potential new business areas.
- Social Media & Marketing
- Developed a robust social media strategy across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook to target investors, potential buyers, and community members.
- Produced marketing materials such as flyers, business cards, and a pitch deck that were instrumental in pitching the project to potential clients and investors.
- Event Planning
- Successfully organized an event attended by over 40 participants to launch the Hometunity project and build relationships with customers and investors.
- The event featured multiple speakers and was pivotal in raising awareness of the project.
- Networking
- Expanded the team’s professional network by attending over 7 events, increasing LinkedIn connections by 100, and receiving valuable insights from experts in sales and marketing.
- Website Development
- Built and launched the Hometunity website, offering information about the ADU models, a marketing survey, and details about the company’s mission and event.
